Skateboard Design for Street Wars Shop
New collaboration for Street Wars, illustrations for their edition 2021, based on defends symbols and feminism symbols.
Different strategies will be used to create these two designs.
Molotov Skateboard
The first “Molotov” design wanted to be provocative and a design that will attract attention. With bright colors and figurative elements. Rebellion, the defense of the poorest against the tyranny of the government. The Molotov cocktail is a symbol ingrained in our minds.
Feminist Gang Skateboard
The second "feminist gang" wanted to be something totally different, it was about resorting to a symbol already identified by current feminist society together with an element of the skate world (also easily identified by the skater world) in order to that with a simple glance the message and the union of both can be transmitted. The world of skateboarding encourages and thanks the skater girls for their participation in it. The streets belong to everyone.
Street Wars Shop
The store that ordered these designs is Street Wars, it is located in a city near to Barcelona and is a skateboard shop with sports equipment. It has currently been open
for more than 15 years and is fully involved in skateboarding events and exhibitions
in Barcelona.
