Wendy's Non-Traditional Advertisement
TASK: Create a non-traditional advertisement for a company of our choice.
I knew that I wanted to make the company relatable and use humor to gain attention.
I chose Wendy's iconic red pigtails because I thought "what better way to be relatable than to let people literally see themselves as the face of the company?"
(plus I knew it would make me laugh if I were to see it while walking in Boston.)
The ad can be used as a window cling or with vinyl depending on the length of the campaign. It can be placed on any reflective surface such as windows or mirrors.
I used Photoshop to manipulate photos to have the appearance of someone looking into a window in a big city. I also edited the company's logo to show only the iconic features, and added a texture for a more naturalistic presentation.
I wrote the tagline "Lookin' Fresh" because it maintained the brand's established identity and lingo from previous ad campaigns.
