Behind the Cover

[EN] The project "Behind the cover" was born from the idea of graphically and playfully exposing the creative universe behind today's great artists.The aim is to convey how the creative world found in the artistic subconscious can be versatile.

To carry out this study, three artists were selected who share their eccentricity and mystical and engaging rhythms, namely: Aurora, Florence Welch and Lady Gaga.

[PT/BR] O projeto "Por trás da capa" nasceu da ideia de expor de forma gráfica e lúdica o universo criativo por trás dos grandes artistas da atualidade. O objetivo é transmitir como o mundo criativo encontrado no subconsciente artístico pode ser versátil.

Para realizar este estudo, foram selecionados três artistas que compartilham sua excentricidade, ritmos místicos e envolventes, são elas: Aurora, Florence Welch e Lady Gaga.

[EN] But how to convey this magic and creativity to the graphic?

To reach this result and resolve this issue, I went deeper and designed a semantic panel in order to extract elements, colors, textures and patterns that faithfully represented each artist

Para chegar a esse resultado e resolver essa questão, me aprofundei e desenhei um painel semântico para extrair elementos, cores, texturas e padrões que representassem fielmente cada artista

[EN] To complete the creative process, I used mixed illustration techniques, focusing on the texture and simplicity of the brushstrokes to capture even more the rustic atmosphere in which the three artists are inserted.
