For this project each student had the goal to create a brilliant package that could express the characteristics of the object ( in this case a spinning top made of wood ) in a way that the package itself could attract attention and playfulness to the object.
So I decided to take a closer look to the rotation of the object itself and take advantage of that adding to that idea a very reduced number of cuts and some well placed creases to make the object immobile, sitting in between the both sides of the paper, but in a general view it give us the sensation of its own movement.
This packaging project takes part in the A Brilliant Package module in the 3rd year of Communication Design in ESAD Matosinhos
