Geisha Version
Geisha or 芸 者 comes from two words namely Gei 芸 which means entertainment and Sha 者 which means people. Geisha has the meaning of people who entertain others. They sell their skills as an entertainer by singing, dancing, or playing traditional Japanese music.
Unfortunately, many people think badly of Geisha with commercial sex workers.
Actually they are artists.
