I created an infographic poster that shows how the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies (The Infinity Saga | Phase 1,2, and 3) performed in terms of ratings and revenues.
The poster compares the critical and audience scores from Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic, as well as the worldwide box office earnings. The poster also highlights the highest and lowest rated and grossing movies in the MCU. The poster aims to provide an overview of MCU's success and popularity among critics and fans.
I tested different ways and went through many drafts and variants. But this sheet below is the very first step for a start of everything.
I won't go into too much detail because this is also a training process for me. But you can watch out how I approached all the poster variants.
It was a never-ending cycle of adding more and more details, tweaking and polishing every part and piece, trying to make it perfect. But I realized that perfection is an illusion, and that sometimes good enough is good enough. So, I decided to let it go, to share it with the world as it is, and to move on to something new. Maybe I'll come back to it someday, maybe not. But for now, I'm done with this project. So, these are the final designs.
