My entry for the Penguin Student Design Awards 2021: a new cover look for 'Talking Turkeys' by Benjamin Zephaniah.
Over 60 children, aged 5-12, from across the UK, were involved in the production of this cover. I asked them to draw their own version of a 'Talking Turkey' and the four featured on my final cover design were the lucky winners! Using a combination of collage and screen-printed textures inspired by the colours of Zephaniah's Rastafarian heritage I was able to curate the children's drawings in a playful way to reflect the quirkiness of his poems.
