Brief
Bohemia is a brand new bar coming to Newcastle’s Collingwood Street.
It replaces the long established ‘Perdu’. After meeting the owner they
expressed a desire to take the bar in a completely different direction.
They are looking to target a predominantly female customer who wants
to visit a cool cocktail bar.
Strategy
For the Bohemia visual identity I aimed to create something which was
very feminine in colour but still retained a strong visual presence in typography
and iconography. I used a typeface called ‘Cosi Times’ for the word mark
and a custom circular wave icon to go alongside it.
