I had wanted to do a portrait after and while. I had then looked up a reference image from Google, of one of my favorite actors, Will Smith. Then created the line art layer.  In the midst of doing this I had looked up a painting/rendering tutorial on Youtube. And I had found this one video by the youtuber/artist: ChrissaBug, the vid titled "How to paint Stylized Skin Easy" It was cool to see her talking about using the tonal map underneath the color of the skin. Great video by the way I recommend to check it out to see how to use/apply the tonal map. I had applied this with more yellow on forehead, darker blue around the eyes, red on the ears and then blue around the mouth. This had allowed me to get the truer skin tone for in this caricature of Will Smith. I'd like to do more portraits, applying this new found tonal map method.
