A commissioned children’s book illustration written by Humera Malik
This book covers 13 common emotions and provides
three forms of support for children for each emotion.
1. An inspirational verse of the Quran to remind children of Allah’s love for them.
2. An affirmation in the form of a quranic verse, dhikr or dua,

All activities enjoin Islamic practices and bring children back to Allah.
This is for Lonely Emotion chapter.
My first spread page done for the project and turn out to be one of my favourite page!
btw, anything related to street or buildings facade illustration will be my favourite
(Architect in me will always be bias on that..;p)
Basically the illustrations is all about simple self-regulating activities
with checklist to be done by the children.
We creating a journal mood with tagging tab so that they can turn to the familiar pages
and feel better wherever they are! Interesting, right?

The ideas of journal elements
ie checklist note, bookmark, tagging, title ribbon, stickers, arrow and etc
are applied at all pages.
The author requested to create simple and diversity of the main Character
for each Emotion Chapter.
