Ti’Swaq - Tahoma - Mount Rainier

In June 2021, a once in a hundred year heat wave covered the Pacific Northwest of the United States. Snow melt during this time was quite impressive. So in early July when I arrived much of the mid level snow in the area was gone. In a wet year, this view would be mostly white from snow cover that lasts into early August.

All of the images below came from the northeast side of of the famed mountain

This first image is a combination of two images, a 2 minute explore of the stars with the camera tracking the stars with a star tracker. The second image is a 5 minute exposure with the camera stationary to get the landscape in sharp focus. The images were combined together in photoshop.
This second view is of the fabled mountain just as the first rays of the sun were poking over the horizon shining on the mountain.

This third image is the sunrise view of the famed mountain from a position close to where the first image was taken.
Low clouds can be seen in the valley below.
And a final view of Ti’Swaq taken from the top of the Gondola at Crystal Mountain.
