This is an identity and branding project I created in 2020 for my senior project at Auburn University. I came up with an idea for a brewpub that was space-themed and that focused on inspiring creativity and building community in the area they were located. I designed digital and physical assets for Nova Brewpub and for their new line of beer.
These beer packaging designs are for Nova’s new line of beer, Sailing Through Stars. The concept art style of illustration and handmade feel of the bottle designs showcase Nova’s commitment to artistry and community.
These are the food and drink menus for Nova. The food menu is made in a way that the paper of the menu can be switched out easily as the menu rotates quarterly. Both menus showcase elements of the brand’s pattern illustration and beer packaging illustration.
This stationery set for Nova contains a business card, purchase order form, and envelope. The brand’s pattern illustration and highly contrasting colors can be seen on these pieces.
These are a few collateral pieces for Nova. There is an apron for employees, a hat for employees and for sale, and a set of 4 different coasters that are used in the brewpub. When put together, the 4 coasters make a design and image of a ship which highlights Nova’s dedication to community bonding and the premise that only by working together can the whole picture be created.
These are environmental images for Nova. There is Nova's storefront which showcases the logo and icon from the street. There is also a drink menu board which is made of chalkboard so as to be quickly changed as brews vary. The third picture is an image of an accessory wall inside the brewpub. The accessory wall highlights Nova’s key quote that explains what a nova is: "A star that glows brighter due to its connection with others.”
These are screen mockups from Nova’s website. These screens include the homepage, the about us page, the beer menu pages, and the event pages. Below is a video prototype of Nova’s website layout.
