We've worked on this project during my University time (2013). The client's request was to design the catalog of the artworks. There were no specific guides and visual references in the brief. So, there was quite a freedom in terms of art direction and design. The book supposed to include paintings and graphic artworks of the client himself and his older brother. Unfortunately, the brother of the client had a very tragic destiny. In the works and fate of him, you can recognise a very powerful creative nature. Throughout the book, we used zoomed-in details, sometimes in a bit chaotic composition, to express that spontaneous energy and sometimes unpredictable flow of life. Besides, the concept and book design we were also responsible for the prepress of the book.
