Sylvie Laufeydottir is a variant of Loki Laufeyson. She had been passing through timelines while being chased by the Time Variance Authority for ambushing and killing their Minutemen, dedicated to destroying them. On the cusp of her plan's success, however, she was interrupted by another Loki variant, and was stranded on Lamentis-1 with him right before its destruction, with the two reluctantly working together to search for a way to survive.
