The Center of Public Communication and Information is a communal enterprise created by the Kyiv City Council to raise the level of awareness about its activities and to increase the level of trust on behalf the Kyiv locals.
At the first onset we focused on the word "center" which was part of the old naming and also the enterprise itself is located in the city's heart — the historical center of Kyiv. Furthermore, the key function of an entity is to be the center of attention for the locals. So it was clear to us that the word "center" for sure will be the basis of the naming.
SLOGAN OF THE BRAND: “in the spotlight. in the center of events. in the center of Kyiv”.
The graphic part of the logo is a semicircle, the center of which coincides with the conditional center of "vcentri" that is a Latin transcription of Ukrainian "in the center".
Brand's communication was based on two letterings placed in a circle — the first one is the slogan of the entity and the second one is a reflection of the three main activities of the enterprise. These two circles are associated with seals, when used in the design of various layouts, which natively creates an association with documents.
