Bar AD ranch branding 2021
Recently I had the pleasure of joining Wolter and Katie out at Bar AD ranch for the 2021 branding. I've been enjoying spending time on the ranch and hopefully will get a few more days out there this year. It takes me back to my roots. I grew up on a farm with 200-300 head of cattle and from a young age was involved in rounding them up, dosing them, tagging them and separating them for the sales yard or the factory. I've spent time on farms in multiple countries on multiple continents and one thing I always notice about farmers is how content they are with their lives. They work more hours than most but many of them don't consider it work at all and get great enjoyment from it. Most farmers aren't wealthy but they wouldn't take a different career path if given the choice again. I have great respect for farmers and that's something that won't change any time soon.
