The Prototyping of ReelFish

DCH Design
The Prototyping of ReelFish
As a final project, me and three classmates were tasked in making a prototype for a New Orleans-based fisher stock to vendor marketplace application.
Skills Used
Interviews
At the discovery phase of my project, I conducted user interviews in order to get a better understanding of how our interface fairs with how the user would ideally want it to feel. It was also to get a better understanding on what people would look for and expect in the prototype.
Personas
Based on the interviews/workshop we set up a persona. We referred to it throughout the entire product development process.
User Journey
We mapped out the users’ steps to see how we could simplify their journey to help them reach their most important goals with the product.
Wireframes
At the beginning of my design process I created wireframes for testing purposes and to use as the scaffolding for our interviews and ideas.
Final Product
After using all the previously mentioned skills, 5 sets of interviews, over 30 screens, and 20+ hours of dedication we hit our final product and tied for top project in our cohort.
