Typographic Architecture

Portraying three dimensional objects and form on a flat surface can be challenging on its own, however, I decided for this project to take it one step farther and portray each architect's style through typography. I started out with a simple print out of each architect's name and moving them around on my scanner to mimic the forms and styles of each person.
After many, many iterations, I came to the conclusion that to fully express the dimensionality of architecture, I would need to combine different scans together and add an element of imagery to support the typography, which is how I ended up with the three posters below.
