The myna is a bird of the starling family (Sturnidae). Myna is derived from the Hindi language mainā which itself is derived from Sanskrit madanā. The above myna is the common myna, usually found in many countries. I took this photo on the balcony of my friend's house. The shutter sound almost made him go away but fortunately, he turned his head and that led to the second picture 👀.
