Oil on paper
9” x 12”

The artist used oil pastels on paper, and utilized tissue, earbuds, and fingers to blend the colors together. The artist used red, orange, and yellow to represent the state of the people amid the pandemic. The artist wanted to give the audience a feeling of calm. The sunset had reminded them of a time before the pandemic when people were less hectic. People’s emotions range from angry to indifferent, its either you care too much or too little. However, the blues and whites represent the time before the pandemic when people were much calmer.
