IN SEEK OF AN ALTERNATIVE REALITY:
Human beings consume experiences and stories, in times of pandemic and uncertainty, where we are limited to creating our own stories, streaming platforms and video games that offer us an alternative reality have experienced great growth. It must be recognized that a story can enrich us and currently the lack of them has made us depend on digital media. These media offer us access to a fictional world of which we have total control of what happens, something that we currently cannot have. The lack of this control over what is happening in our lives has made us look for an alternative reality.
Altered Reality talks about how human beings in times of pandemic have created an alternate reality through the screen in the absence of connection with our environment.
