During my final year at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln, I studied data visualization and how information is given and perceived. The follow fourteen graphs were created over fifteen weeks all using the same data pool. Some pieces are more scientific and allowed me to confront the division between math and art, while other pieces required a more expressive approach with bits of vintage books or wood stain. I learned to exhaust every angle of the content then go even further - all while exploring new techniques and materials.
