OSU CAS SOCIAL PROMOTIONS
CAS, 2020-2021
The College of Arts and Sciences has the most academic departments at Oklahoma State University from Arts & Humanities to Interdisciplinary Studies. In order to promote some of the lesser known majors and minors offered in these departments, as well as new online courses, I created these graphics for the CAS social media accounts to bring awareness to these opportunities to current and prospective OSU students.
For social media posts, especially for use on Instagram, I tend to gravitate more towards an illustrative style because it stands out more than the photographs you would generally see while scrolling through your feed. I enjoy the task of illustrating a wide range of topics even as vague as ethics because it challenges me to think of abstract concepts as images and how I can showcase them to attract the target audience.
