Context
This app considers those who have just completed the Habitat for Humanity homeownership program. They have gone through money management courses, completed sweat equity hours, and their house is finally built.

Problem
Many Habitat for Humanity homeowners have bounced around from different living situations, and have never owned a home before. They are overwhelmed by the number of maintenance tasks they must complete throughout the year and are unsure of how to do them.

Solution
Handee by Habitat for Humanity is an app designed specifically for those who have just moved into their new Habitat home. During the closing process, members of the Habitat team will help new homeowners set up the app with tasks they must complete customized to their home. This app reminds users about home maintenance tasks they must complete, allows users to make in-app purchases for items needed to complete tasks, stores important information about the home, such as paint colors, warranties, and manuals for appliances, facilitates communication within the neighborhood of other Habitat homeowners, and gives a brief overview of a recommended budget to follow. The goal is to make this daunting stage of life a little less stressful through the Habitat for Humanity homeownership program.

Process
This was a semester-long project that began with research. I conducted interviews with homeowners and Habitat for Humanity staff, and did comparative analyses of existing home maintenance and budgeting apps. From here, I created user personas to determine the key features of the app. I then made a style guide and wireframes before the finalizing the UI.
