Artist Statement:

This was my final portfolio for a foundations class. I created a "family tree" like portrait collection that shows my family members but also the change in portraiture through out the years. its starts with my grandpa and grandma at prom and go through the decades until it reaches me, my 2019 senior year portrait. I used the photoshop digital painting method. I think this project is important because it shows the growth of portraiture since the 50's, I also wanted to make something meaningful for my family but also show my digital painting growth too.
