Because we were thinking about the planet and the problems it is facing on replenishing it’s natural resources as we’re consuming them so quickly, we tried to figure out a solution that could, at least, give it some time to rest.
This machine is able to wash and disinfect vegetables and fruit to be eaten in thirty minutes!
The cover has a button in it to activate the disinfection process and it has a safety system that automatically deactivates the UV radiation once the cover is opened.
The UV radiation happens inside the machine by a LED UV technology comprising 55 LEDs wich embraces the inner part of the machine creating an atmosphere of ozone wich makes de chemical disinfection. At the same time, the water is pumped for that same compartment by a spray system similar to the irrigation system while the metallic basket produces a rotational movement releasing the physical impurities.
Once the process is finished, the food is ready to be taken and eaten. The water gets back to the transparent side compartment through a filtration system that makes it clean again and ready to be used for about 300 times.
The machine can be disassembled so all the compartments can be cleaned.
