"The Enigma Diary" was a submission for the 2021 AdobexHBO Creative Jam. The prompt was to tell the story of a creative project we completed during the pandemic that was helpful in expressing emotion. This project was only my second time dealing with video and I'm ultimately pleased with the result. I received an honorable mention for my submission. The creative summary I submitted with the video is listed below.

The Enigma Diary takes place in both the past and the present, as I tell the story of a creative endeavor that helped me get through the pandemic. To answer the prompt creatively, I performed a poem written about a series of poems written during the pandemic. To make the point of view and message as clear as possible I use transitions and color correction to show the difference between the past and the present. I use the white transition and monochrome color correction every time the story takes place in the past; the writing of the poems. Conversely, I use the dissolve transition when returning to the present; the performance poem. I recorded a voice over, and then synced the visual performance of the poem to the voice over recording of the poem.
