THE WIZARD OF OZ
An accessible, grown-up, darkish book trailer
The Wizard of Oz is a classic novel written by Lyman Frank Baum.
Aim of the project was to create a book trailer based off the story: we decided to spice things up by presenting it in a more dark, adult and somber way. The video is designed to be accessible for both blind and/or deaf users by using subtitles, transcriptions and descriptive texts.
References for the project included Italian artist Piero Fornasetti's artworks, the theme song for Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate and the closing credits of Oz the Great and Powerful movie by Sam Raimi.
