Tucson Tea Company specializes in small-batch loose-leaf tea blends. The company wanted a brand identity that would reflect their quality tea products and the region it represented. Based in Tucson, Arizona, Tucson Tea Company offers over 85 unique and popular tea and tisane flavors. The proposed branding assets designed, highlight the company's products, while offering clean, minimalist, and eye-catching designs.

Designing a local tea brand presented unique challenges. Purchasing loose leaf tea is a very personal and intimate process with customers having to choose from a plethora of flavors and competitors. Often times customers prefer to see, smell, and touch the various loose leaf tea products before purchasing. Being primarily based online was a challenge, as customers did not have the opportunity to smell, touch, or even taste a sample of each tea blends. In order to still appeal to users senses and spark interest, the imagery needed to highlight the loose leaf tea blend and ingredients. In addition to the final product image, images of the loose leaf tea are included in the shape of a cactus, to pay homage to the region and the company's name. These cactus shaped tea images provide a unique style that is unique to Tucson Tea Company. 

Additional imagery features a minimalist design reminiscent and inspired by architecture and food photography. Clean lines, minimalist designs, high-end textures, organic textures, and rich colors are used throughout. For this project I wanted to create a company image that exuded luxury and highlighted the product or the ingredients. Tucson Tea Company offers high-quality micro-blended (small batch) loose leaf tea blends online and the imagery had to mirror the company's unique quality blends. These design elements persist throughout all designs, including print materials, digital assets, social media imagery, and main website. 

The Tucson Tea Company's website features colorful imagery of products and product ingredients. Popular teas, including Summer Peach Black Tea, Cranberry Orange Spice Decaf Black Tea, and Tucson Sky Green Tea all feature the loose leaf tea and ingredients in creative ways that may spark a nostalgic familiar flavor profile the customer can relate to and be attracted to try.
