Expressive Design
This project was to explore expressive design and the different ways font can influence a "brand" or imagery. We first had to find 20 inspiration images to base our typography from. We then used those images to create different mood boards that represented our word that we chose.
We learned how to transfer our hand drawn words into illustrator and photoshop to create mock ups of our words. I learned how to use adobe dimension as well as some different techniques in illustrator and photoshop. I learned how to use the paintbrush tool for spreading patterns easily, and in photoshop I learned how to use different filters and create shadows.
The word I chose was Vintage. I felt there were many directions I could've taken the theme and font style for this word. I personally like the word vintage and was planning to make an "elegant" font style and imagery.
