For this project I was tasked with making two drop caps in the style of graphic designers, one from early 20th century, and the other from late 20th century to the 21st century.

This drop cap pays homage to Saul Bass who revolutionised the way that title sequences were presented in films.  He commonly uses black silhouettes over a single colour background to give contrast and mystery in his designs.

This drop cap pays homage to Yusaku Kamekura who designed a poster for the Tokyo Olympics in 1964.  He uses strong contrast with geometric shapes with a minimalist style.
