Choosing one from a set of publishing genres, the goal of this project was to conceptualize and name the series, and design the book covers. The covers had work conceptually and formally both individually and as a set. The covers had to be type-centric, with any imagery used playing a supporting role and the typography embodying the concept and focus of the cover.

Badass Women on High-Stake Adventures is a series of fantasy books for young
adults by Sarah J. Maas. Each book starts with a female protagonist who is
struggling but is given an opportunity at a better life despite extreme tragedy.
Each woman will go through a series of events that will test her strength, her bravery, and her determination as things go from bad to worse to horrendous,
before new friends and a new chance at life bring a glimmer of hope in the
darkness. Facing impossible tasks, these powerful heroines must risk their lives,
their morals, and their fates to save not only themselves but their entire world.
