Abandon Central Texas

Central Texas abandon home with windmill
We came across this abandoned home in central Texas about an hour and a half south east of Austin. There wasn’t much left on the property but this house and a windmill and a wandering cow. It seems to have been abandoned for about 20 or 30 years. There wasn’t much left in side except for some old pickling jars, old stove and some empty cabinets.
Abandoned Central Texas Church
A small abandoned church in Southeast Austin Texas with ivy of growing all over it. There was some literature left from the last people who occupied the church which seem to be dated from the 90s.
There’s a Problem with the TV
In this abandoned home the bedroom still had the mattress which seems to be completely falling apart and has been made into a nest. The tube in the TV has been kicked out. It seems that all this place needs is a little TLC and a little cleaning.
What’s in the closet?
This photo was taken in the bedroom of an abandoned home. The door is to a closet with a big hole in the ceiling with some really creepy light coming through the roof. The TV is missing its tube. The blue tarp is covering part of an old bad.
Town for sale
This is a town about an hour and a half south east of Austin Texas. The majority of the buildings are all for sale. They put a lot of random things in the windows to make the buildings look occupied. There doesn’t really seem to be a lot of people in this town, very very quiet. I’m not really sure what the machinery behind the buildings is but I believe it has something to do with farming maybe a mill.
