The mission of Hiveaids is to foster heterosexual relationships between HIV/AIDS positive persons. We also believe that anyone who is HIV/AIDS positive deserves the benefits and blessings of meaningful human companionship, the only thing that we ask, “THAT WE DEMAND,” is that all participants abide by the root requirement of this social networking tool in observing and respecting the privacy and confidentiality of others. With this respect for others privacy as our guard and standard, a meaningful relationship can be achieved without causing any harm or embarrassments to anyone.

 

Our mission is also containment, to do that which is appropriate to educate and prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS. We believe that mates with the same illness are more understanding and tolerant of one another and know the techniques and safeguards that must be employed to ensure continued health and vigor. This is why we promote interpersonal relationships between HIV/AIDS positive couples so that the wholesomeness and completeness that a mate brings to one’s life is gained by persons infected with this chronic illness.

The name Hiveaids is chosen because Hive is to take shelter or lodging together, to reside in a collective body; and Aids is to help someone: to provide somebody or something with help or with what is needed to achieve something. Persons of HIV/AIDS status are to take shelter and lodging in a loving relationship and to help one another to stay healthy and strong.
