Travel and experiences in other cultures have always inspired architects, artists, writers, photographers and also designers. Objects and impressions were collected and gave impetus for own designs.At the moment, travel activities are being reassessed due to climate change and the risk of infection.
It is time to take a closer look at what we have already taken away from our travels in recent years. Which objects, motifs, impressions, not only from a distance, can be analyzed, evaluated and further developed in terms of design and social aspects?
This MP is about rediscovering and questioning what may be very banal and developing it into something sustainable, meaningful and relevant. The forms of implementation /realization are open and depend on the respective object or concept.
