It all began when an enchanting bard named Hobbes. He graced us one wintery evening with a wicked weave of stories. The air was so thick with imagination and mystery that one could almost see the entire story unfold before us. To add yet another level of depth and mystery to the evening, the violinist who performed for us  along side the storyteller dramatically entwined herself into the story taking the role of “the devil” in the tale. Naturally, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to create this piece entitled “The Devil’s Violin” which now has become a part of the family traditional storybook currently under creation.
