I am currently working on a website regarding secret, mysterious, haunted, strange, and unknown places in San Diego, CA. I created this image using photographs (some of which I took) of a few of my favorite San Diego locations. I am a native of San Diego and have local knowledge to share with others, so I attempted to create a feeling of the area by using photography layering for my second assignment in photoshop. I also used text for the first time. I chose an orange tint because our sunsets are beautiful oranges and my favorite time of the day. In this assignment, I discovered the opacity tool and loved it, as you can see! If I were to go back to this image as I will one day, I would soften the lines a bit, which I now know how to do. The seals are one of our biggest attractions, so I had to get one in the image. I also learned how to combine and overlay photographs in this during this class module, and it creates such a beautiful effect!
