Illustrator Techniques
This project focused on techniques regarding the graphic design aspect of Adobe Illustrator. The assignment's task was redrawing the Coca-Cola logo and creating our own patterns. For this assignment, using global color swatches in CYMK, the pen tool, gradients, and typing on a path were a main focus.
This image is when I had just finished with the circle and the script for the assignment.
This image is when I had god the gradient finished for the background of the logo. I had to find the official Coca-Cola color in CMYK format and set the swatch in a global color setting.
This image is when I had set the script color to it's bright white color. The task was to make the redone logo look more vibrant than the original image.
This image is right after I had finished typing on a path for the trade mark part of the logo. The hardest part was trying to find a font the appropriately replicated the original hand-drawn words on a more professional fashion.
This last progress photo is of my work in creating my pattern in the final part of the assignment.
