Z'axis is a relatable, engaging and popular e-Mag for young African change-makers, social entrepreneurs and people interested in making a change. It comprises of funny but insightful experiences from young Africans who have continued and not wavered in their life journeys even after facing serious, and perhaps funny challenges and failures. Since the target audience is gen Z, the illustrations are inspired by emojis. Emojis serve an important function in communication for Gen Z. Young consumers don't use them just because they love it, but also to add meaning to what couldn't be said in words. Emojis are first and foremost a supplement to communication. Hence, the illustration style is inspired by emojis to talk in a language that is the most understandable by gen Z.
