Francesca Marchisio is an Italian designer, creator of Francesca Marchisio brand, born with the aim of transforming clothes into timeless objects with functionality and expertly worked materials. Francesca combines ready-to-wear fashion with the industrial design method to create authentic objects.

Francesca Marchisio is an Italian pioneer of reversibility. She’s been experimenting with objects’ transformation since 2011. Fashion becomes metamorphic, clothes fit every style and allow people to stand out or camouflage according to the contexts.
The reversibility is in the hands of the wearer, who likes to interpret fashion as a personal experience to always feel good.

We decided to participate to the initiative #Time2share launched by MarieClaire Italia, which aims to tell, donate, teach something through sharing with others.

Francesca with her work told us what it means for her to share time:

< "Sharing Time" means having passions and emotions in common, weaving authentic bonds at work, as in the family. The common thread of this sharing are up-cycled models designed to be reused in different ways, genderless, in one size and reversible. In particular, the Apron dress in waterproof organic cotton is inspired by the work, kitchen and gardening apron and, thanks to its reversibility, shows a precious hand embroidered side reusing chiffon and muslin scraps. >
