Aeroflot is one of the oldest Airlines in the world, and when asked to rebrand an airlines I thought there was no better company that deserved it. Aeroflot is Russia's flag carrying airline and I wanted to keep the heritage and strength of the country when thinking of a rebrand.

I combined the Russian flag and the Bear for its raw power and cunning to create a symbol that resembled both strength and motion forward.
For secondary elements I created three sets of patterns to be used throughout the branding. Two of which are more traditional patterns that you would typically see within Russian quilting to tie in the the heritage of this long standing brand. The third pattern is a more modern take and is of the logo repeated.
In addition to interior branding, I redesigned the exterior of the plane to match the new design direction. I took the rebranded logo and floated it through the body of the plane. By extending the tails along the body and up the tail i wanted to further represent motion forward in a dynamic and eye catching way.
