Childhood memories

I drew a childhood memories. With watercolour pencils on paper.

I wanted to express naivety and childishness through soft strokes and working without sketches. I didn't set as a goal the photographic similarity, just the opposite, I tried to get rid of it. It was more important to capture the vivid spots of colour that remained in our memories from that period of life.

For some, childhood is an amusement park, for others a cotton candy at a zoo, and for others a trip to the woods to pick mushrooms with their grandparents. Whatever these associations are associated with, they will always remain the brightest and purest for us.
