A short story about the book

Історія створення збірки поезії Ірини Ящук (тоді ще Кривошеєвої) розпочалась у 2014 році. Але довгих 4 роки вона змінювалась, доповнювалась, перероблялась, але 2018 року була опублікована.
Структурно книга складається з 5 частин, кожний розділ названий, як певний елемент житлового будинку, Піднімаючись сходами (читаючи) людина може осягнути той, пейзаж (пережиті емоції та стани), що автор відкриває читачеві.

Сама історія про створення книжки вже окрема «книжка». Протягом цих років книга пережила декілька концепцій оформлення. Тут розміщено вже фінальне рішення. Майже кожен вірш має дві версії італійською та українською, і це вплинуло на композицію сторінок, хоч значно ускладнило верстку.

Зазвичай, якщо поезія має різний період та місце створення це зазначають текстом поряд з віршем, мені ж захотілось зробити взаємодію з читачем і на сторінці розміщені геотеги. Потім всі теги зібрані на мапі.

Верстка книги відбувалась у XeTeX це дало змогу створити власний макет та стиль для книги. Сама мапа створювалась у QGIS за допомогою даних OpenStreetMap. Подальша підготовка та оформлення відбувалось за допомогою Inkscape. Обкладинка була створена у Blender.

The history of creating a collection of poetry by Iryna Yashchuk (then Kryvosheeva) began in 2014. But for 4 long years it was changed, supplemented, revised, but in 2018 it was published.
Structurally, the book consists of 5 parts, each section is named as a certain element of a residential building. Climbing the stairs (reading) a person can comprehend the landscape (experienced emotions and states) that the author reveals to the reader.

The story of the creation of the book is a separate "book". During these years, the book has undergone several design concepts. The final decision is already posted here. Almost every poem has two versions in Italian and Ukrainian, and this affected the composition of the pages, although it significantly complicated the layout.
Usually, if the poetry has a different period and place of creation, this is indicated by the text next to the poem, but I wanted to interact with the reader and geotags are placed on the page. Then all the tags are collected on the map.
The layout of the book took place in XeTeX, which allowed you to create your own layout and style for the book. The map itself was created in QGIS using OpenStreetMap data. Further preparation and design took place with the help of Inkscape. The cover was created in Blender.
