Capital Punishments - A Dire Need Of Time?

Punishments are meant to stop crimes or reduce their number to almost non-existent. Most of the modern countries are against the death penalty because according to them it’s unethical, immoral, and inhumane act. For example, talking about rapists, they are a dark muddy spot on the name of humanity and therefore punishments must be severe so that other people might think a thousand times before committing the same crime again.

Capital punishments are a dire need of time. Cases of rapes are increasing with every passing second in developing countries with south Africa, Botswana, and Lesotho among top three. Most criminals are caught and jailed for some time, imposed with heavy fines and some are sentenced to spend rest of their lives in a dungeon but still piles of cases of rape, murder, and brutality are reported daily. A question arises why is crime still existent? Some of the criminals with strong political backgrounds oppress the poor to fulfill their lust and later on bribe police and courts to flee from accountability. These white-collar goons must be punished capitally so others in power could see the results of crossing the line. Wrong use of authority is one of the root causes of injustice in a society. The thirst of public for justice and equity could only be quenched if they see the punishments with their own very eyes. The resonance of class distinction could only be eliminated if the higher ones are punished first for their crimes. Moreover, public executions for severe crimes such as rapes and murders could intend as a deterrent. Summing up the discussion, capital punishments are a dire need of time and governments should work in accordance with to make punishments as deterrent for others.
