Character Design - Ling, The Sinner Sloth
As a child, Ling(零) had been living on the streets with a starving tummy. She's hungry but at the same time she's lazy to search for food. She's willing to starve so that she can stay doing nothing. This intrigued the Witch of Deadly Sin's interest when she first met Ling. Later, the witch decided to adopt Ling as her apprentice and teach Ling techniques alongside with her 6 other apprentices.
Although the witch had a hard time teaching the lazy bum, she's happy when Ling managed to master a technique called Spirit Conjuring, where Ling used it to conjure fish spirits for her daily task. These fish spirits shows intelligent as they are able to interact with Ling.

Due to her laziness in doing or getting stuff done (she tend to use her fish spirits to complete her tasks), she's been nicknamed "Sloth" by the other apprentices. Although she's not happy about the name, she was too lazy to correct them, hence she decided to just get along with it.
Before the witch's demise, she split her power into 7 portions and granted each portion to her apprentices. After that, the apprentices decided to split way and venture on their own since they have different life goals. Ling decided to follow one of the apprentice since she's not sure that she will be alright on her own due to her laziness. Ever since then, she have been accompanied with the fellow apprentice.
Now, she's 20 years old and still enjoy being lazy.
