Drapery study, 11.6 x 16.5 inch, black fine liner pen.
Chair study, 23.4 x 16.5 inch, left half: acrylic paint, right half: pencil.
The Bathroom still life, 11.6 x 16.6 inch, acrylic paint.
The outcome of a series of still life, I was inspired by the work of Chardin, Bonnard and Matisse. I wanted, with these studies to question the beauty of everyday life and the very essence of still life: represent in 2D what we see in 3D in an organized composition.
Abstract painting, 16.5 x 23.4 inch, acrylic paint.

I tried a new method of creation with image association. As the surrealists did for instance with the Exquisite Corpse. So I did a collage with images from magazines and selected an area of the collage so that I could recreate it using a myriad of painting techniques.
Women painting, acrylic paint and oil pastel, A5 and A4.
In this series of paintings, my aim was to represent the beauty of women's body regardless of their morphology even if they do not correspond to the beauty standards of our current society.
Sketchbook tour
This project is an idea of installation. I imagined a room where people from different ages, genders and backgrounds who, together, would make an artwork on a huge white paper with the tools that are given to them: paint pendulum and paint spinning tops. My aim is to uninhibit the spectator to make art and not to be intimidated by the blank sheet. The participants express their emotions in painting without necessarily having an artistic background:
they are creator of the work even with the intermediary of the tools because they control the rotations of the pendulum and the spinning top according to the force, the speed with which they push the tool, they also choose the color of the paint.
The goal is not to restrict creativity but to allow, thanks to this collective project and the tolls, the expression of emotions in the most impulsive way.
I was inspired by Making Beautiful Drawings and the spin art of Damien Hirst, the Métamatics of Jean Tinguely and Les Amants by Rebecca Horn.
The Chimera carpet, 20.4 x 17.7 inch, wool, bubble wrap, plastic drape, plastic elastic, embroidery, cotton fabric, paint.
I designed and built this carpet inspired by the ancient Greek myth of the Chimera. During this project, I challenged myself to build an object from scratch by revisiting as much as possible the use of different materials to create a unique artwork. It allowed me to explore 3D artwork with textures and to get out of my comfort zone.
I was influence by the myth of the Chimera, the myth of Penelope who every night, unrays her tapestry while waiting for Ulysses to return so she doesn't have to marry another man.
I also drewn my inspiration from the history of tapestry which in addition to being decorative served as a narrator of historical events, myths and legends. Such as the Bayeux Tapistry that depicts the events leading up to the Norman conquest of England.
