It's in absolute awe that I witness a young child as they reach out for literacy with striking fierceness. As they make the connections and so quickly decode not only the sounds the letters make but start to extract the meaning of words, sentences and full stories. I am also passionate about the simplicity of children's drawings and just couldn't let go of the opportunity of saving some of my daughter's lovely and most crude alphabetic scribbles as she turned 6. This is my loving memorabilia of that time.
