RESIDENTIAL NARAMATA BC BARN DESIGN

This project focuses on converting two existing barn structures into a vacation home for a retired couple. The clients' tastes leaned toward a contemporary style, which was a main direction for design conceptualization. The area uses large components and a limited colors palette which is functional but still invites the user of the space into the environment.
Because the Rose structure and petal layering inspired me, so in floor plan I tried to follow the concept by choosing the type of staircases and in space planning I put the private space of the owner in a separated  section that open out into the hall.

In kitchen I tried to turn this space into something more inviting so chose the colors from my color palette that create contrast in this space
In master bedroom I followed my concept by layering the drywall ceiling and in living room you can see the concept in the color and model of the furniture.
Pool and bar shapes got inspiration of concept, and for pool flooring I chose Rosa Rosa  tile ,that made of a lots of small tiles , each tile has 20x20mm and  the barn flooring is made of poured concrete , because its not slippery.
