Pack Your Bags, We're Going on an Adventure.
The objective here was to make stickers than belong in a set but to also make them look so good that people would want to put them on a "$1,000 laptop" or a "$40 dollar water bottle". At first I was hesitant about trying to make something look so good, but at the same time I was excited to test myself and go out of my comfort zone.

Sketching - The Bones of the Design
Creating a design about something you love or are passionate about makes it that much more exciting to start. I'm from Arizona and I love this state with my whole heart. People think Arizona is just dry, desert, and heat, but it's much more than that. We have the beautiful desert and forest, two of my favorite sceneries. So while sketching, I was stuck on whether to do a sticker set on the desert or the forest. Since I love to go on adventures, I chose the forest and elements you would take on an adventure. Since I'm so passionate about my state and what's in it, I found it easier to sketch.

My main focus was on the tent, campfire, and camera. As you can see in the first draft, I had an idea of what I wanted to accomplish, but I didn't really how how to execute it. The tent looks like a teepee, the campfire stopped at an unrealistic point, and the highlights on the camera didn't make sense. But luckily fellow designers around me helped me out and gave me some ideas and suggestions of what I could improve. These suggestions included fixing on what I mentioned before. I worked and tweaked and asked for feedback, and finally got the end result.

Final Product - The Flesh and Final Touches
After fixing everything that was needed, I sat back and thought "okay I'm done!" but my mind wouldn't let me do that. I knew I could go the extra mile. So, I added depth and shadows. I believe that my design meets the objective previously discussed because I feel that these stickers belong to a set and that they would be worth putting on an expensive laptop or water bottle. I'm proud of myself for this piece and this has been my favorite so far.

Thank you!
