Slovak Contemporary Dance
Promotional material about modern Slovak dance. Visual inspiration comes from Rudolf Laban, native of Bratislava, dancer and the founder of modern dance, who was famous for inventing original visual notes of a dance. Here one of his note is divided into three elements, hence three leaflets. The material thus works independently, interprets three autonomous areas, which are roofed-over by one institution. By interconnecting them one creates a united image. Leaflets’ folding was adjusted so that each opens-up differently, yet together as a whole. The classic Slovak tricolour has been shifted to more contemporary colour tones. Selected fonts respect the local narration, since both come from Slovak typedesigner.
